Fleet
Wrong trailer kills the job at the gate. Here is what BAR runs, what it is for, and when we pull partner gear instead of guessing.

Workhorse. 45' lower deck. Ramps and tarps on the truck.

When height or drive-on loading will not fit a step-deck.
Company equipment
This is the trailer BAR owns and staffs. Tall machinery, HVAC and cooling equipment, industrial skids, and a lot of military freight leave on this deck.
| Trailer | 53' step-deck, company owned |
|---|---|
| Lower deck | 45' |
| Why a step-deck | Drops the load into the well so height clears bridges that a flatbed would not |
| Loading | Ramps on the unit. Fork, crane, or drive-on depending on the piece |
| Weather | Tarps on the truck. We tarp when the commodity or the customer requires it |
| Best for | Overheight equipment, generators, process skids, cooling towers, exhibition pieces |
| Not the first call when | The piece is extra-long, must be driven onto a well, or needs a multi-axle for weight |
When the step-deck is the wrong tool
Removable gooseneck. Lowest deck height. Self-propelled machines, construction equipment, and freight that has to be driven or rolled onto the well. Used when a step-deck still sits too tall or the loading method demands a detachable neck.
Open 48' or 53' deck for steel, pipe, crates, and machinery that does not need the well. Faster to load when height is legal on a standard deck.
Overlength beams, towers, and fabrications that will not fit a closed 53'. Length is quoted from actual loaded measurement, not a guess.
When axle weight — not just gross — is the problem. Bridge formula and state permits decide this, not a brochure photo.
If we cannot field the right trailer, we say so before you book. A cheap rate that shows up with the wrong deck is not a rate.
Power units
JR Elrod. President. Still in the seat. Often the truck that books and straps the same load.
Chad Davis. Lead driver. Blue Kenworth T680. Cooling towers, machinery, military freight.
Charles “Ducky” Thomason. Walks the load before it moves.
Wardell Ward. TWIC, passport, base-access ready.
